Time flies when you're writing essays and taking midterms.'Tis the season I suppose.
Time flies even faster for some of us thoug, sadly. Janet Liang, a 2009 UCLA graduate, was diagnosed with leukemia the summer after she graduated. Her cancer went into remission but it has reemerged. Terrible stuff that.
But there is a way you can help, and it only takes 5 minutes of your time. Find the A3M table on Bruin Walk this Thursday and register to be part of the Be the Match Registry for bone marrow. All you need to do is fill out a quick application and stick some cotton swabs in your cheeks. Quick, easy, painless, and there is no commitment, just the off chance that you might be a match one day for a poor fellow in dire circumstances.
It's easy to look past us on the crowded route of Bruin Walk and being bombarded with countless flyers but you could be saving a real life like this! Look for the A3M table next to our steps (Kerckhoff steps) and our brothers flyering with all their might on the walk.
DO YOUR PART!
